Wendy Zheng - Vocal
Wendy has been studied piano for sixteen years. She received many piano competition awards such as Kiwanis Festival, Toronto Festival, Scarborough Festival and high school awards. She started her vocal lesson with Ruth Tsang when she was sixteen. In this current year in March, she won the York University Chinese Singing Competition. Wendy also had the opportunity to perform in Casino Niagara as Carryon Band Chorus with many famous Hong Kong and Taiwan artists. Her performing experiences had also gained in many small shows, such as York Jazz Festival, Taste of Asia, Joe Tay's concert and etc. Besides singing, she is also the keyboardist band leader in Larry and the Sunshine band, and Hydra. Wendy is currently studying her last year in York University as a teacher and performer.
Ken Zheng - Conductor and Music Director
Mr. Zheng is a music graduate of the china Film College. In 1980, he started his career in music as a performing member of the Pearl River Film Orchestra. From 1982 to 1984, he took part in orchestrating scores, editing and producing for television programs. During that time, he was engaged by several famous publishers as the chief orchestrator and conductor. He has also collaborated with famous music producers and artists to develop music records and film scores. In 1984, Ken became the chief recording engineer for the White Swan Recording Art Publishing Company. Since then, he has composed and conducted hundreds of productions, many of which are his own compositions. In 1991, he participated in an advanced study trip to Anthony Recording Art College in Los Angeles, California. Currently, he is a director of the Overseas Chinese Music Society of Ontario and he is also the General Manager and the conductor of its orchestra. The top highlights of Ken's performance were the 2000 Universal Singing Competition and the music performance of last year in Mississauga "An Enchanting Musical Journey to China."
Jian Zhong Li - Folk Vocal, Trumpet Performer
Mr. Li is a music graduate of Faculty of Music in Beijing College. After graduating in 1976, he was the principle trumpet, performance with the famous Beijing Theatre Music Association. He was transfer to Philharmonic Orchestra of Beijing as a trumpet player (principle). During his career in China, he performed with many famous conductors in China and Overseas, such as Qiper, Xie Yang Chen and De Lun Li. After 1994, he started his own company as a vocal and trumpet professor. He is still currently teaching in Canada.
Larry Lo - Vocal
In 1967, Larry worked in a Record Industry in Hong Kong. From 1985-1997, he was the distributor in PolyGram Music Ltd. of North American and Hong Kong. From the year of 2003 till current dates, he is a presenter, which host music program in Fairchild radio Toronto. Larry performed many shows in Canada such as Taste of Asia, 2000 Universal Singing Competition and etc.
Roger Feng - Vocal
Roger has been singing for 12 years. But his extreme talent and raw passion for singing have allowed him to make tremendous and rapid vocal improvement. In 1998 after he won a singing contest organized by the Toronto Fairchild radio station, his performing career just took off where he was frequently seen performing in events and functions organized by Fairchild TV and Fairchild Radio. Roger was seen frequently performing as a member of "Larry and the Sunshine Kids" performing English and Chinese oldies in many different functions in Toronto. Roger was very fortunate to have the opportunity to perform on the same stage with some of the best Hong Kong oldies singers such as Michael Remedios, The Samson Sisters and Cinderella. This unique experience has enhanced Roger's performance experience and personal vocal development. Roger is also no stranger to singing competition.

Chinese Folk Orchestra and Band
The two music groups were newly formed with a combination of professional musicians and young talented players, under the baton of Ken Zheng. Concert repertorire, mainly on Chinese symphonic and orchestral pieces, folk melodies and folk songs from various regions of China are particularly selected for his Chinese Arts Festival for the enjoyment of the audience.
The CarryOn Band
The CarryOn Band was formed by a group of professional musicians who had moved away from full-time music career but continue playing music as a serious hobby. It started with 4 members and throughout the years has grown to 7 members. The Band's members are all Canadian citizens of Chinese descent. Most members moved to Canada from Hong Kong and were educated in Canada or the USA. With this background and composition, the Band is multilingual without perceivable accent when singing English or Chinese songs.
